Photographs from last Friday’s opening of the Church of Bruce Bacca at 248 Fillmore St., San Francisco.
Visitors to the church walked the broken glass barefoot, and wore the wooden Bacca mask. Upon their exit, they took with them a pocket prayer idol and a DVD of “Incident at Nakatomi” – a pious remastering of the film “Die Hard” that has Bruce removed to protect their newly adopted beliefs.
Three fire engines were sent for the 7pm opening ceremony as there was an unidentifiable smoke emanating from the altar that found it’s way into the dwellings above the church.
For those that will be in San Francisco on December 25th, there will be a free soup kitchen provided by The Church of Bruce Bacca.
Yippee – Ki – Yay. (Tons of pictures after the jump)
