Our friend at Juxtapoz sent us this pic this morning, he took it last year at the SF Zine Fest last summer. Seems appropriate today. The Citrus Report, all of us here, have roots in Oakland, all having lived there, so we feel upset that a fellow Oaklander in Oscar Grant did not receiver the justice he should have yesterday. A cop killing someone in a suspect manner deserves a greater sentence.
And, “anarchists” who come into Oakland to cause a ruckus, and UC kids who think this is part of some summer school class to cause some sort of ruckus, go back on Highway 80 and go home. Let Oaklanders to their own thing.
