david choe
David Choe’s early career was based out of Los Angeles. He has created comics, murals, toys, prints, movies, music, magazines, books, t-shirts, commercials, posters, shoes, fine art, and live demos. His early work can be found in Hustler, Raygun, Vice and Juxtapoz Magazine, and he has commercially collaborated with RVCA, Upper Playground, and more.
His mural work has been seen all over the world and his travels have served as the inspiration and education for much of David’s artistic career. His unorthodox career and life was documented by Harry Kim in the documentary ‘Dirty Hands’ which gives an intensive look into the influence behind much of David’s most famed work. In 2010, he was given an entire issue of Juxtapoz Magazine to curate, an honor that is is only rarely bestowed upon individual artists. David has shown works in galleries and museums all over the world including the Jonathan Levine Gallery, Lazarides Gallery and FIFTY24SF.
