Well, that collab was complete shit, and Lou Reed thought it was the greatest recording session in the history of man, so we can only think this is the worst protest in the world now that it has the Reed endorsement.

Bottom of the ninth, two-outs, two strikes, down two runs? Triple to score 2. Game tied. Extra innings. Top of the 10th, two-run homer. Bottom of the 10th? Match those two. Top of the 11th? Walk-off home-run. We are going to game 7 of the World Series. The Cardinals and Rangers played one of the greatest games in the history of the sport, and we all get spoiled with one more. This is why baseball is the best sport… it is never the same game twice.

We don’t know, this band is really hit or miss. We heard they have Rihanna singing on their newest album one track, and from the sound of “Paradise,” the second single Mylo Xyloto, we thought she was going to kick in to make this song even more shit. Perhaps the worst single in the history of the band. So go ahead and listen!

Its really not that hard to say that… you don’t play 6+ hours and 19 innings to have it go down like this, no way… and we like the Pirates, so let’s just get that right off the table now…

We love George Lois. He is the original Mad Man and he did the best magazine covers in the history of the medium. Raymond especially loves him after spending time with Lois in his Manhattan apartment. Now, Lois is the cover subject of It’s Nice That, which we will now buy and cherish.

Historypin, a website and mobile app, uses Google Maps to pin archive photos online to their original location. It consists of a user-generated database, pinning photos in Street View that are searchable through tags. Their goal is to create conversation and share history through out the generations and cultures. Pretty neat concept.

Eadweard Muybridge is the amazing human being who proved that animals left all four paws when sprinting through the wilderness. If your one that is interested in zoetropes, elaborately beautiful diagrams, and black and white, we’d suggest you check out “The Machine.” A book that chronologically explains the history behind sculptural artist’s and their ideas. The book is incased in Metal so you know it will last for centuries. This ideas in this book are what made other books possible. Take that!

Doodles explores the realm of the subconsciousness, the language of archetypal dreams and universal symbols. Combining an absence of linear perspective and mixed media compositions, he guides the viewer through a primitive, rhythmic, narrative.
Doodles communicates through the history of symbolic signs, found objects and mysticism. His
intentional and emotive distortions of the figure are reminiscent of indigenous Folk Art found in South America, Mexico and Native cultures. There is a constant rhythm pulsing underneath the body of his work resulting in detailed, repetitive patterns throughout the figuration and landscapes. Doodles also works in a variety of scale ranging from large outdoor murals to small intricate drawings.
The artist recently returned from a three-month trip traveling to and throughout Mexico. The experiences of his voyage are translated through his current body of work featured in his upcoming solo show, Astral Rise.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is bringing the goods from MoMA in NYC with the Tim Burton retrospective. After the show in NYC was one of the best draws in the history of the MoMA, the LACMA decided Los Angeles may be a good place for a Hollywood outsider/legend/insider to be honored.
From LACMA:
“On view at LACMA from May 29 through October 31, 2011, the exhibition brings together over 700 drawings, paintings, photographs, moving-image works, storyboards, puppets, concept artworks, maquettes, costumes, and cinematic ephemera, including art from a number of unrealized and little-known personal projects. Many of these objects come from the artist’s own archive, as well as from studio archives and private collections of Burton’s collaborators.”

The UK’s Museum of Natural History is showcasing a badass show at the moment, Age of the Dinosaur, based on the findings that China have unearthed in terms of dinos over the past few decades and beyond. Highlights include a T.Rex footprint, a recreation of the T.Rex’s friend, the Tarbosaurus, and a simulated dig.
