May 19th, 2011This weekend, May 19—22, 2011, FIFTY24SF Gallery will be showing at the SF Fine Art Fair, with work from Jason Jagel, PEZ, MQ, and few others from the greatest hits collection. As you can see, MQ and PEZ went to town on the DFW cab. (Thank you to Dave Vetrano for the DFW cab).
Come by, check it out, PEZ and MQ are going mob on one of the walls, and we can’t wait to see what the Art Fair crowd has to say about some nice touches from the team.

New Tees by MQ
March 23rd, 2011MQ (also known as MQUE or MQIZM) has relentlessly painted walls in countless cities for nearly 30 years, and although his signature block letters have maintained an unheard of consistency for that time frame, the body of his work has evolved and changed with the times and has repeatedly amazed with its relentless profiency.
This new three t-shirt collection Upper Playground is releasing showcases MQ’s current style. The Retro Tee features a front pocket with a printed retro-inspired font-style on the pocket. The Mailbox Tee is navy blue and features MQ’s signature hand-style printed across the front. The Uno T-shirt puts the multi-layered combination of stickers and reflective vinyl that has dominated his artwork into apparel form.
All three t-shirts are available at the Upper Playground online store and at all Upper Playground retail locations.
The MQ Alembic
July 15th, 2010alem·bic (ə lem′bik) – noun: an apparatus of glass or metal, like a retort, formerly used for distilling
We’re releasing a hand etched 64oz stainless steel flask. Limited to a quantity of 20, the legendary artist-vandal, MQ, took time out of canvassing walls around the world to design and hand-etch all 20 flasks with his signature lettering. The flasks are useful for having a place to put two fifths of booze, making margaritas for the whole tailgate, and filling with enough water to flood a Fijian island. The flask is only available online at the Upper Playground web store.
