If you are a big Sonic Youth fan, and have around $11m, you can get yourself involved in one of the Christie’s, Sotheby’s and Phillips de Pury’s upcoming Contemporary & Post-War auctions on May 11-13, 2011. In those auctions, you can find some Raymond Pettibon, Richard Prince, Mike Kelley, Rita Ackermann, Gerhard Richter, and others. Who said npise rock art was cheap?
