This year’s Project M/4 presented by Urban Nation and curated by Thinkspace Gallery brings together the works of more than 60 urban contemporary artists to Berlin. The project centers around a prominent residential building in Berlin that is in need of rehabilitation and mostly unoccupied. Titled Project M/4, the temporary art project was curated by Thinkspace Gallery by invitation of Urban Nation. The Project M/ series organized each year by Urban Nation and a guest curator has the ambition to improve the neighborhood by supporting internationally acclaimed artists to come together to create and connect with one another. This year’s participating artists include Nosego from the US, Puerto Rican Alexis Diaz (aka La Pandilla), C215 from France, the Australians Dabs Myla, and the Berlin-based Low Bros.
The installation of M/4 took place on May 17th along with its first ever pop-up exhibition, ‘LAX/TXL’. LAX/TXL also curated by Thinkspace will feature works of more than 60 urban contemporary artists and will be shown until the summer just across the street from the Project M/4 building at the Urban Nation production offices in Berlin’s Schoeneberg district.
