Italian Sculptor Bruno Walpoth turns wood into flesh

Coming from a place of 400-year-old tradition of wood-sculpting culture, Italian sculptor, Bruno Walpoth has mastered the art of turning wood into flesh.   “Both my grandfather and my uncle were wood sculptors, and so I grew up with this medium.”  Each sculpture takes 2 months to complete as Walpoth fleshes out the details and delicacies of each piece.  Check out the photos and for more info visit www.walpoth.com.
