Just announced: David Choe will be at the Upper Playground SF shop this Sunday at 3PM for an in store book signing.

His latest, self published book, ‘Snowman Monkey BBQ‘ will be available in store and online during the event.

“This Sunday October 26th I will be signing@upperplayground in San Francisco, 3pm till it’s over – the first gallery to ever give me an art show and has supported my art for Almost 2 decades. The books are almost all gone and I’ve never reprinted any of my books. I self published a book #snowmanMonkeyBBQ I will do only 2 or 3 signings.This Sunday in SF, will be my first one- if you already bought it , bring it over and I’ll sign it. Artist David Choe is working on releasing limited edition books that are related to his last major installation and show in Mexico City  titled ‘Snowman, Monkey, BBQ’.  Each book will come with a print and an etched wooden box. Some of these boxes will be hand embellished and even hand painted by the artist. No announcement of when these books will be available have been made yet but they are planned to be released within this year.

 

 

This is the Final week to go see David Choe’s solo exhibition at Museo Universitario del Chopo in Mexico City, Mexico.  Titled, ‘Snowman Monkey BBQ’, David Choe displays a giant mural, latest watercolor works, paintings, sculptures and more. Show is closing Sunday October 27th!
